RUGGED HONDA HPD RIDGELINE TO COMPETE IN GRUELING OFF-ROAD REBELLE RALLY

A team of Honda engineers will take the company's product development efforts to the next level later this month as they tackle the 2021 Rebelle Rally, an all-women off-road navigation event through the unforgiving deserts of the American southwest.

This is the third year Honda is participating in the longest off-road rally in the United States, which begins in the Nevada desert and finishes 1,500 miles later at the Imperial Sand Dunes in Southern California. It's not a race for speed, but a unique and demanding event where the teams strategically navigate the rugged terrain without the assistance of GPS or cellular navigation. Instead, drivers will rely on traditional elements of headings, hidden checkpoints, time, and distance using maps, compasses, and roadbooks to reach the finish line.

WOMEN BEHIND THE WHEEL: ASTON MARTIN BEVERLY HILLS HOSTS FEMALE-FOCUSED DRIVING EXPERIENCE

It’s not every day a dozen Aston Martins drive in a convoy through the streets of Beverly Hills. Even rarer? All the drivers are women.

Aston Martin Beverly Hills hosted a women's drving experience with President of Aston Martin Americas, Laura Schwab, at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

In 2018, over half of the top 20 automotive companies had zero women on their executive teams, leaving just 8% of women as executives in the top 20 motor vehicle companies in the Fortune Global 500. At a time when over half of C-Suite leaders in the global automotive industry point to women as a critical pool of underutilized talent, Schwab's success is bringing the industry up to speed.
